One Piece Design Durable Construction Reduces Strut Movement Locks the Top of your Struts Together
When a car is pushed hard into a turn, the tops of the strut towers can move as much as 1/8”, which affects the camber setting in an negative way and can make the car handle unpredictably. Correctly made strut bars help stabilize the tops of the struts by tying them together.
Incorrectly made strut bars have become popular in some circles due to their low price, but they are hinged and therefore offer less support to the strut tops. AEM Performance Strut Bars are about as good as you can get in a bolt on solution. They lock the tops of the struts together, reducing strut movement in extreme situations. They are constructed of 1-1/2” steel tubing, providing great strength and low weight. One benefit with the addition of a correctly made strut bar is that Noise Vibration and Harshness (NVH) can be reduced as well.
