In recent years there have been several vehicles that bring back the styling cues and power of the fifties and sixties. The Dodge Challenger and Charger are part of this retro styling trend and hearken back to the days of the muscle car era. Each vehicle has several engines, including optional V8's that produce ample power on demand and the soundtrack to match. The AEM 28-20295 replacement air filter is designed to fit 2009 and 2010 Dodge Charger models with 3.5L and 5.7L engines, 2008-2010 Dodge Challenger with the 6.1L engine and 2006 through 2010 Dodge Charger models with 2.7L, 3.5L, 5.7L and 6.1L engines. Whether you are looking for a filter to increase performance or one that will last for the lifetime of your vehicle, these models can all benefit from the additional flow and excellent filtration that the 28-20295 provides.

In addition to the "throwback" styled muscle cars, Chrysler has also created a line of luxury vehicles with the 300 badge. These roomy luxury vehicles share their basic platform with the Challenger and Charger but have a greater selection of optional packages and engines. 2005 to 2010 Chrysler 300 with 2.7L and 3.5L engines, 2005 through 2010 Chrysler 300C with 6.1L and 2004 through 2010 Chrysler 300C with 5.7L engines can also also use the AEM 28-20295 performance air filter.
Finally, another set of models use the 28-20295. 2005 through 2008 Dodge Magnum models with 2.7L, 3.5L and 5.7L engines and 2006, 2007 and 2008 Dodge Magnum's with 6.1L engines use the 28-20295 replacement air filter. As a "performance wagon" the Magnum occupies a unique section of the market but, even given its oddities, the SRT-8 is a model not to be taken lightly.
The AEM 28-20295 air filter does not use oil, making the cleaning process simple and removing the possibility of over-oiling the filter. The filtration media is an extremely durable synthetic media with a high holding capacity for dirt, which can lengthen the amount of time between cleanings. This filtering media is covered and protected by a wire mesh of epoxy covered aluminum on both sides. Installation is as simple as replacing the old paper air filter with the new AEM air filter. AEM replacement air filters can go for up to 50,000 miles before cleaning is needed depending on driving conditions. The cleaning process itself is also simple. The cleaning solution is a mild cleaner and degreaser which simply removes the built up dirt and grime to allow the filter to be re-used. The AEM 28-20295 Dryflow filter will not void your Dodge or Chrysler warranty and is covered with AEM’s Lifetime Limited Warranty.
