The 2015 Jeep Renegade is a subcompact crossover SUV from Jeep. Although it is a Jeep, the 2015 Renegade is built in Melfi, Italy alongside the related Fiat 500X. Both vehicles share the Small US Wide 4x4 architecture platform. In a bold move for Jeep, the Renegade is the first Jeep model to be produced exclusively outside of North America. An optional 2.4L Tigershark Multi-Air engine and nine speed transmission can be found under the hood of 2015 Jeep Renegade models. The 2.4 L Tigershark SOHC inline 4-cylinder gasoline engine is rated at a respectable 184 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque from the factory.
