I bought the AEM DryFlow filter for my 2016 Mazda 6 Sport, which has just over 5000 miles on it. I didn't notice any increase in power under normal driving, however, the car now stays in gear longer before shifting during a hard acceleration, compared to the stock filter. What I did notice right away, was the car runs slightly smoother, and I've gained a 2-3 mpg improvement in gas mileage. My driving is all stop-and-go commuter miles in the city. With the stock filter I was getting about 29 mpg around town. With the AEM filter I'm now getting 31-32 mpg consistently. I would definitely recommend this filter as a replacement for a stock filter.
Arrived as said it would. I will monitor the performance, but would like to find an instrument to monitor its pass through.
Gives my AWD Mazda CX-5 2014 that zoom zoom dedicated to the Mazda make.
Looking to see if the claims are accurate after several tanks of fuel. Hope to see increase in MPG and horsepower. I feel that horsepower has increased because it seems to have more get up and go.
Call AEM first to make sure they have the part in stock because if it isn't you won't find out until after you've paid for it.
Works great and easy to install.
The package came in quickly and the product itself is well made. I have not had a chance to install into my car yet. But, I feel it is a solid choice over the OEM stock unit.
