Great filter. Noticed a smoother throttle response, and slight increase in mpg. As for horse power gains, well not so much. I would of given it five stars, but it came with so many pieces of loose rubber attached to the frame that I had to trim off for fear of them falling into the engine.

The AEM filter I just put in my 2018 turbo Honda CRV made the biggest improvements I have ever gotten from any K&N which are already very good. Vs. the K&N my new dry flow AEM filter makes the K&N feel like it is clogged. I gained no LESS than 2mpg in the city and no LESS than 4mpg on the highway Throttle response improved so much it actually feels like the throttle body suddenly increased in size. AEM claims the filter element in the AEM dry flow filters is actually different than the traditional oiled K&N despite looking the same. It is a dry flow high flow filter that is for sure though. The filter element is perfectly dry. NOTE-the AEM filters come with some kind of light oil applied to the rubber surround of the filter so the rubber does not mottle or dry out. The AEM fit my CRV perfectly. 93 octane + AEM an easy 10+HP.

Installed on my 2017 Civic EX hatchback (1.5 liter turbo). Install was simple and straight forward, just make sure the one side with the indents goes on the left side if I recall correctly. Should only fit one way in the intake box. I noticed maybe a 1-2 real-world mpg gain, and maybe a slightly more responsive throttle. Knocked off 1 star however because my new filter had a few rubber pieces from the factory molding/cutting process that was in the package when I opened it, so I had to carefully inspect the filter and remove before installing. Dont think it would be good if it went inside the engine.
