Installed on my 2017 Civic EX hatchback (1.5 liter turbo). Install was simple and straight forward, just make sure the one side with the indents goes on the left side if I recall correctly. Should only fit one way in the intake box. I noticed maybe a 1-2 real-world mpg gain, and maybe a slightly more responsive throttle. Knocked off 1 star however because my new filter had a few rubber pieces from the factory molding/cutting process that was in the package when I opened it, so I had to carefully inspect the filter and remove before installing. Dont think it would be good if it went inside the engine.

I had an AEM filter on my last car and I liked the dry filter. So when my new car required a replacement I chose AEM again.

Love these filters. Easy to clean and last a long time. Have one on all 3 vehicles. Just put this model in my wife's new turbo Civic with a tuner. Seems to spool up quicker.
